“Once you subscribed to any hosting plan with DatastiQ, you will be entitled to have our cPanel Email service. This service will go together with your hosting plan and will be based on the storage capacity you have for the plan you selected. Take note that all email accounts you will create will share the same storage with your website files and etc.”
Now that you have your own email or created email accounts under your hosting plan, the next step you need to know is “how to reset or manage your email password” in your Datastiq account cPanel.
To begin, follow the walkthrough instructions below to reset your email account(s).
1. Log in to your Datastiq Client Portal by going to www.datastiq.com. https://datastiq.com/
2. Select the hosting plan you want to configure. If you subscribed to multiple plans, you will see more than one item in your client portal. Be sure to select the correct one.
3. *Scroll down a little bit*
On your Product Detail Page under Quick Shortcuts Section, please select “Email Accounts” to access your email accounts dashboard.
4. Select the email you would like to reset its password then click “Manage” to open the email settings.
5. You can now enter your new preferred password for your email account. You can also click the “Generate” button if you would like to have a random text for your password.
6. Lastly, do not forget to click the “Update Email Settings” to save any changes on your email account. Please do make sure that you remember your new generated password or put it on your notes.
This instruction contains auto-config attachments to easily set up your email account to any device you have. Take note that the cPanel is the master page for all of your services, therefore you should be careful to who you will grant access to it.
